Terms of Service | PlantSolve.com Interactive Plant Guides

Read the PlantSolve terms of service regarding the use of our interactive plant calculators, botanical reference guides, and expert-verified advice.

## Terms of Service **Last Modified:** June 3, 2026 Welcome to PlantSolve. By accessing our platform, utilizing our online software metrics, or reviewing our specialized botanical reference archives, you accept and agree to follow the specified Terms of Service. ### 1. Educational and Informational Purposes Only **All content distributed across PlantSolve—including but not limited to irrigation schedules, chemical fertilizer computations, growth timelines, pest treatment ratios, soil design outputs, and heat stress diagnostics—is provided strictly for baseline educational and informational purposes.** Our interactive algorithms synthesize verified horticultural rules and localized grower scenarios. However, a data tool cannot evaluate the absolute microclimates, variable drainage, systemic microbial histories, or individual genetic characteristics of a live biological specimen. Platform feedback should never replace direct professional onsite horticultural observation. ### 2. No Guarantees on Plant Outcomes Because complex natural variables (such as home HVAC ambient drafts, domestic tap water dissolved solids, container mineral retention, changing UV parameters, and unknown pre-existing root pathogens) diverge completely per residential installation, PlantSolve and its parent entity, Rizonite Labs, **cannot and do not guarantee any survival, health, bloom, or growth results** for your flora or aquatic fauna. ### 3. Assumption of Risk & Chemical Disclaimers When interacting with our diagnostic platforms or deploying calculated outputs, please keep the following safety principles in mind: * **Product Labels Overrule Software:** All dosage configurations are approximations. You remain legally bound to read and prioritize the printed manufacturer specifications attached to any physical fertilizer, pesticide, fungicide, lime, sulphur, or agricultural modification compound before use. * **Mandatory Conservative Testing:** Certain mutations, cultivars, or stressed specimens exhibit immediate sensitivity to chemical compounds or nutrient shock. We recommend deploying all newly introduced chemical mixes at conservative strength (e.g., half-dosage) on a single test leaf or isolated stem area before full application. * **Fauna Toxicity and Environmental Management:** While we attempt to catalog the native toxicity profiles of specific flora indices, we do not operate a toxicology clinic. You maintain responsibility for cross-referencing all indoor plant acquisitions against official medical standards to protect household pets and children. ### 4. Intellectual Property & Developer API PlantSolve provides a public Developer API to encourage education, research, and software development. Unless otherwise noted, data made available through the `/api/` endpoints is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. You may use, share, adapt, and build commercial or non-commercial applications using this data, provided you give appropriate attribution to PlantSolve in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 license. This license applies only to data intentionally published through the public Developer API. **Protected Assets** The following are protected from unauthorized scraping, reverse-engineering, or commercial reproduction unless explicitly stated: * Website source code * UI/UX and design * Calculator implementations and logic * Branding, trademarks, and logos * Images (unless separately licensed) **Open Data** The following are openly licensed under CC BY 4.0: * Published API datasets (`/api/v1/*`) * Public taxonomy * Knowledge Graph data We may introduce reasonable rate limits, maintenance windows, or technical safeguards to maintain service availability. These operational measures do not change the licensing of the published data. ### 5. Definitive Limitation of Liability Under no legal framework or actionable scenario shall Rizonite Labs, PlantSolve, our contributors, or our editorial agents be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to complete crop or collection failure, individual plant loss, residential property water damage, chemical stains, or chemical exposure injuries arising from the deployment of our systems. ### 6. Third-Party Advertising Declarations Our web surfaces show automated advertising segments driven by partners like Google AdSense. We maintain zero ownership, control, oversight, or liability for the transactional validity, structural accuracy, safety guarantees, or corporate statements issued by third-party advertisers. ### 7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These operational Terms of Service shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the parent company, Rizonite Labs, is formally registered, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any formal dispute or legal action arising under this contract shall be managed exclusively within the competent territorial courts of that designated corporate zone. ### 8. Severability & Complete Contract Integration If any specific clause of this agreement is determined by a competent court to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that specific clause shall be severed from the contract, and its removal shall not compromise the structural validity and legal enforceability of the remaining operational sections.
